Suman Thapa is a visual artist currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at Tribhuvan University, Nepal. His artistic practice is rooted in a process-oriented approach that values intuition, spontaneity, and the evolving nature of creation.

Cloudescape series emerges from my fascination with the ephemeral and transformative nature of clouds. I view clouds as metaphors for human perception and emotional states — constantly shifting, evolving, and open to individual interpretation which mirrors the fluidity of thought and the impermanence of the present moment. Through this body of work, I aim to capture that sense of continual transformation and the beauty found in change itself. Each work of “Cloudscape” series is both a record of process and a reflection on presence — a visual manifestation of the balance between control and surrender, form and formlessness.
